As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
The Journal of the Gulf Economist is a peer-reviewed academic journal concerned with the publication of economic, administrative, accounting and statistical research... Related to the affairs of the Arabian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula, research papers written in Arabic or English are accepted according to the following regulations : 1. The research should not have been published or submitted for publication to another party, and the researcher undertakes to do so in writing. 2. The researcher bears the legal consequences in relation to intellectual property. 3. The research that has been approved for publication becomes the property of the Journal and the copyright belongs to it . 4. The editorial board presents the research for preliminary evaluation in the AL-Istiqlal program to indicate the extent of its scientific validity for the journal. 5. The research submitted for publication is submitted to three scientific evaluators-in the exact scientific specialization of the research, and their opinion is binding . In the event of a conflict, the provision shall be taken as agreed by two of them. 6. The research is returned to the researcher (author) to make the proposed amendments and within a period not exceeding thirty(30) days. 7. The research is rejected if the researcher does not commit to making the required adjustments from the evaluators within the specified period 8. The research is subject to linguistic evaluation after it is accepted for publication by the Arabic language evaluators . 9. The magazine provides a summary of the research in Arabic and English with (12)TimeNewRoman font and (100-150) words, as well as keywords and (5-8) words . 10. Mention in the footnote of the submitted research whether it was delivered at one of the scientific conferences and the acceptance of the publication obtained by the researcher from the organizer of the conference as a single scientific component is considered. 11. The commission reserves the right not to publish any research without giving reasons and its decisions are final 12. Research papers are not returned to their authors whether accepted for publication or rejected by the evaluators . 13. The research is submitted in three hard copies with a size of (14) for the board, font type (Simplified Arabic), footnotes with a size of 12, font type(time New Roman)), as well as a CD using the (Word) program . 14. The introduction to the research is written and includes the significance, problem, goal, hypothesis and methodology, then the research structure is written in the form of headings for the research and the demands of the research topic. 15. The evaluation fees are collected in advance, and in case the research is accepted for publication, the publication fees are collected from the researcher, and determined according to the volume of the research .
