الملخص
في هذا البحث تم الوقوف على أهم الأسباب التي تجعل الشخص يقدم على إجراء عمليات تجميل جراحية أو غير جراحية, وقد بينت النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن جنس وعمر الشخص له تأثير قوي على رغبة الشخص في الخضوع لإجراء عمليات التجميل، كذلك تؤدي الحالة الاجتماعية دورا" فعالا" في جعل رغبة الشخص تزداد في إجراء عمليات التجميل، أما المتغير الذي يمثل العامل المادي فقد كان هو المسيطر على قرارات الشخص بشأن قبول أو رفض إجراء عمليات التجميل، كما أظهرت النتائج أن معظم الناس في العينة موضوع البحث لا تميل ولا تشجع على إجراء عمليات التجميل كونها تشكل خطرا" على الحياة .
