E-commerce and its impact on business economies in the United Arab Emirates

Abstract
Within the framework of the global importance of the e- commerce index, the United Arab Emirates has advanced positions, as a reflection of the attractive environment for investment and the development of the business sector, and the provision of all necessary logistical services. The research aims to highlight the strengths and successes achieved by the United Arab Emirates in the business sector and the role of e-commerce in it. And how all humiliated However, there are challenges he suffers from: competition due to the entry of many suppliers into the retail market as a means of increasing profits, which increased the obstacles to electronic commerce, making it more vulnerable to errors in financial calculations due to the multiplicity of parties involved in the process Business, such as the supplier, shipping company, store owner, and customer. In addition, many suppliers follow a policy of burning prices, as they sell to consumers at wholesale prices, and thus store owners are unable to compete at these prices. The most important results reached by the research are the development of the e-government index in the UAE to (0.9014) points in the year (2022) and within the highest global classification (VH). The value of e-commerce activities between business institutions also increased to reach about (21.8 trillion US dollars), equivalent to about (82)% of the total e-commerce in the year (2020). While the value of e-commerce operations between business institutions and consumers increased to a value of (4). ,9) trillion dollars. The UAE achieved first place in the Arab world and ranked 16th globally according to the Global Report on Ease of Doing Business (for the year 2020) with an index of (80.9(
